At three kilometers from the centre of Velletri and only 40 kilometers from the centre of Rome, situated on top of a hill surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and vegetable plots, situated on the first floor of our villa, Chez Raz is an ideal holiday location for visitors of all tastes. 

 

The surrounding area offers many possibilities for those who enjoy the outdoors and nature: characteristic villages and towns can be found perched on the nearby Lepini mountain range (Rocca Massima, Cori, Sermoneta, Segni); natural parkland and lakes are within ten to thirty minutes drive (The Regional Park of the Castelli Romani with the Monte Artemisio summit and the Lepini mountain range with the Monte Lupone summit) offering even sports lovers ample opportunities for nature treks on foot or MTB.

For lovers of the sun, sand and salt water, we are situated a convenient distance from the best beaches of the central Lazio coastline (Circeo, Sabaudia, and further to the south Sperlonga and Terracina); at not more than twenty minutes in the car, you can find the lakes of Castel Gandolfo and Nemi; otherwise, lose yourselves on an enogastronomic adventure from town to town in the Castelli Romani (Genzano, Ariccia, Albano, Rocca di Papa).The centre of Rome can be reached in 50 minutes on the train or about one hour by car.

 

For those who simply want a place to relax, from 15 MAY to 15 SEPTEMBER, guests can make use of the secluded swimming pool, deck loungers, outside kitchen and eating areas and barbeque.
